We stumbled upon this cozy cottage for a last-minute weekend getaway. the location was perfect, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and friendly. We loved the peaceful and quaint setting, and the cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the owners provided thoughtful touches like tea, coffee, and milk in the fridge, as well as toys and DVDs for the kids. the beds were comfortable, and the towels were changed midway through our stay. it was a great experience and we would love to come back for a longer stay.
there was limited storage space upstairs, and we had to keep most of our clothing downstairs in an open suitcase. the internet was not always strong, but we made do.

Great location near the high street and attractions. Well-equipped kitchen and nice touches of children's toys.
No internet or phone signal, felt like a nuisance on the owner's land. Thin curtains and lack of privacy.

We found very nice value for our money at Little Doric in Shepton Mallet. The room was well-presented with high-quality furnishings, and the little touches like complimentary coffees and condiments were greatly appreciated. The location was fantastic for our needs and the hosts were responsive and cute. We can't wait to come back for a longer stay!
The only small suggestion for improvement would be to offer a wider variety of breakfast items.

The stairs in the hotel were quite steep and slippery, making it difficult for those with mobility issues to navigate. the internet connection was unreliable, which proved to be frustrating as there was no phone signal either.
